Beacon Hill Golf Club is a private club within the community, operated by Resort Development Partners. Working from the original Johnny Miller layout, architect Tom Clark selected eighteen of the property’s twenty-seven holes and redesigned them into a single course that now measures about 7,200 yards from the back tees at par 72.
Six sets of tees — including a family tee — mean the course plays for beginners and low handicaps alike. Dramatic 400-foot elevation changes give nearly every hole a view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
A clubhouse and a par-3 course are planned as the club continues to grow.
